The breath of life

Last night my daughter and I went outside to look at the full moon. It was breathtaking!  It was full, bright, and glorious. We sat in quiet awe. Then my daughter went scurrying off. When she came back she had binoculars! "Mom look at the moon, you can see everything!" As I looked through the binoculars I was just amazed. What a big, beautiful wonder. God created that, breath that in! He created that moon! Just like He created you! The wonders of ALL that makes me speechless.
I remember when our first child was born and how simply amazed we were. When our pastor came to visit us he commented that it's hard to be an atheist after watching a delivery. Truer words have never been spoken! How can you watch a person enter this world and not praise God? He made you, you were made for a purpose. If you have a minute I encourage you to read what Max Lucado has written. He truly is my favorite author. His words have a way of moving my soul and bringing me to tears.
Chad and I read this just this morning, simply moving, tears streaming, speechless. Today on this day thank God for the gift of life. He made you and He made you for a reason, for a purpose. Don't ever forget that, don't take that lightly! He breathed life into you, out of dust we were born. "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7

"Thank you Lord for taking the time to form me, to mold me, to make me whole. On this day help me appreciate all that is of You, all You have created. Out of dust, You make beautiful things. Your breath is in me, let me breath it back out into the world."
